FEET & ANKLES

It is no secret that our feet and ankles bear the weight of our entire body every single day. When something goes wrong, it can make life very difficult.

Many of our patients who have had no success with surgery, epidurals, steroid injections, trigger point injections, as well as acupuncture and chiropractic care, find relief for the first time after receiving our treatments.

Some of the more common foot and ankle conditions we’ve successfully treated include:

  • Achilles tendonitis: The Achilles tendon connects the muscles of your calf to your heel bone. It’s the largest tendon in the body, and may become inflamed through overuse, arthritis or ill-fitting shoes.
  • Plantar fasciitis: Heel pain, often, worse in the morning when you get out of bed and your feet first hit the floor. It occurs when the plantar fascia, the thick band of tissue that runs from the heel bone to the toes, becomes inflamed.
  • Other conditions: Pain in the ball of the foot (Morton’s neuroma), Restriction of movement, pain and inflammation in the big toe (Hallux limitus and hallux rigidus), etc.

How they treat it

The go-to remedies for conventional doctors include drugs and surgery. Taking drugs to mask the pain carries plenty of risks even with well-known over-the-counter drugs such as aspirin and acetaminophen. The risks include harm to the liver and stomach, bleeding, kidney and heart problems.

How we treat it

At the Regenerative Healing Center, we treat foot and ankle pain using an integrative approach. Using ozone therapy, prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and other therapies, we accelerate and enhance the body’s natural healing process. Many patients that come to our center have already been through the conventional route without relief.
